CALIB

Description
Calibrate map scale.
Uses 16 comma-delimited parameters.
Syntax
CALIB 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16

The CALIB command has these parts:

Parameter Description
1 Y distance, map center to point A (in.)
2 X distance, map center to point A (in.)
3 Y distance, map center to point B (in.)
4 X distance, map center to point B (in.)
5 Latitude of point A (±DD portion)
6 Latitude of point A (MM portion)
7 Latitude of point A (SS portion)
8 Longitude of point A (±DDD portion)
9 Longitude of point A (MM portion)
10 Longitude of point A (SS portion)
11 Latitude of point B (±DD portion)
12 Latitude of point B (MM portion)
13 Latitude of point B (SS portion)
14 Longitude of point B (±DDD portion)
15 Longitude of point B (MM portion)
16 Longitude of point B (SS portion)
Remarks
An empty numeric parameter field = 0.

Example

CALIB 2,-1,0,1.5,45,,,-90,,,22,15,,-45,,
Calibrates the map scale by equating point A (-1",2") to 45°N, 90°W and point B (1.5",0") to 22° 15'N, 45°W.
