Spatial Analysis and GIS for
Undergraduate Course Enhancement in the Social Sciences
August 2-6, 2004: San Diego, CA
Participants will be housed in suite-style single occupancy rooms in Cuicacalli Hall on campus at SDSU.
The rooms are prepaid by the organizers. For information about Cuicacalli, please vist the
SDSU Conference Center.

When arriving at SDSU, please check in at the Front Desk at Cuicacalli Hall. Your name will be on the roster of
participants and you will receive your room key and parking permit during check-in, which is available starting
at noon on Sunday, 1 August 2004. The Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day, so even if you arrive late in the
evening you can still check in. Please note that check-out time will be no later than noon on Saturday, 7 August.
Cost is prepaid for six nights.
Meals will be on your own, but there are many dining facilities on campus as well as inexpensive
restaurants near the residence halls. SDSU is a major transportation center for the county transit system of buses,
which provide connections to the San Diego Trolley (which will have an SDSU stop in 2005).
San Diego State University is located within the
City of San Diego, one
of the premier tourist destinations in the world.
